The two thesauri do not comply with all the terms of the Arab Standard Specification for the preparation and development of Thesauri. Al_Faisal Thesauri was more competent in expressing the subject content of documents., and Al_Faisal Thesaurus adhered to the users language and vocabulary more than the Thesaurus of Terminology in Library and Information Science This was found to be attributed to the fact that Al_Faisal Thesaurus has been subjected to continuous updating and also because it followed the analytical method in collecting its material.
