Abstract : The research aims to identify the level of participation of high school students ( credits system) In extra-curricular activities And identify the degree of social responsibility (Environmental health, National, community) By high school students . it also aims to reveal the extent of the contribution of extra-curricular activities Provided in the secondary school system credits in Developing Social Responsibility (Environmental health, National, community) The research Used descriptive analytical method using a questionnaire designed by the researcher and previous studies as main too. The research sample consisted of 314 female students from the high school improved schools (credits system) of the educational directories of (north, center, south-west, south-east) of Jeddah, the sample were selected by random sampling. The finding of the research are: the level of participation of high school students (credits system) in the city of Jeddah in extra-curricular activities in general are weak and an average (2.5) , results of the research also showed that the most used dimensions of the social responsibility which practiced by high school students are the health responsibility, environmental, social, and national responsibility respectively. And that the most influential activity of extra-curricular activities (social, art, cultural, and scientific) on developing of social responsibility practices among high school students in Jeddah is cultural activities, followed by social activities, scientific activities and finally artistic activities. Based on the findings of the research results of the researcher recommended a number of recommendations including: Work on the integration of the areas of extra-curricular activities, which received a demand from the students with the least popular activities This would increase the motivation towards various fields of activities , Activation of community involvement between the school and parents in the field of extra-curricular activities ,Provide developmental training programs for students the aim of the development of their personality and their rehabilitation was so influential individuals in the community are cooperating with the institutions and organizations to counter the negative aspects of social behaviors and reduce the spread .
