The aim of the study was to identify the role of the Management by wandering around in its dimensions(Finding facts, improving communication, motivation, development and creativity, feedback) in the decision-making process, to achieve the objectives of the study; the researchers used the analytical descriptive approach, a questionnaire was designed for data collection, and then distributed to the entire study community consisting of (321) individuals, a total of 218 questionnaires were retrieved, the recovery percentage (67.9%) of the total, after testing hypotheses and analyzing them, the study found many results. Of The most important: the approval of members of the community of study on the practice of the ofJeddah Municipality staff the management "by wandering around " degree approval came (high), and that the approval of members of the study community at the level of decision-making also came to the degree of approval (high), the results also showed a positive correlation between the management by wandering around with its different dimensions and decision-making process, the results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the degree of management's practice by wandering around its dimensions (finding facts, improving communication, motivation, development and creativity, feedback),attributable to personal variables (gender, age, years of experience, and career level), and the absence of differences in the degree of management practice by wandering around discover the facts attributed to the educational level, While differences were found to be statistically significant in the degree of management practice by wandering around in its dimensions (improving communication, motivation, development and creativity, and feedback)attributed to the educational level, The study concluded with a set of recommendations by the two researchers. The most important recommendations were: Encourage and urge officials at all levels to supervise the practice of management by wandering around in all its dimensions through the scheduling of field in order tours to ensure the activation of the decision-making process and enhance the management methodology by wandering around linking them in the decision-making mechanism and activate them. In all government institutions to achieve the desired goals.
