Abstract : This study aims at identifying the fact of women readiness to face disasters in the education sector. An applied study on the governmental primary schools for girls in Jeddah. In order to achieve the aims of study the analytical descriptive approach is used. In addition, a questionnaire divided into two parts has been designed: the first part: includes the personal information and information about school, while the second part: includes axis that study the women readiness to face disaster in Education sector, which was linked to the template of disasters management with its four phases. These four phases are readiness, mitigation, response, and recovery. The study society is 213 schools distributed to four education offices. The researcher has taken a random sample of 45 schools, and a questionnaire is distributed in respect of the safety and security accountability therein. Statistical Packages of Social Sciences have been used to analyze data and the trueness of the instrument. The most important results achieved by the study is the readiness of women to face the disasters in the education sector is very high in the entire four phases of disasters management template. She also realized that the most imports obstacles for the women to perform their role in facing disasters is represented in using bad electric equipment, which causes frequent failure in electricity with 31.2 %, as well as the lack of security awareness and that there are no sufficient specialized security officers in the field of safety and security of 28.0 %. At the third class, the expiration of the safety and security equipment of 22 %. In the fourth class, ineffective response by the competent authorities with the safety and security for maintenance purpose of 81.8 %. Most important recommendations of study: There must be committees at schools affiliated to Crisis and Disasters Management Department, which is affiliated to National Risks Council. The occupational habilitation for future teachers within the course of their studies in Universities and Colleges in the field of civil protection and crisis management. An approach designated for crisis and disasters management shall be added, and it shall be considered among the education curriculums on all its different levers to increase the awareness and publish the culture of protection from disasters and contingencies prevention.
