Abstract : The objective of the study was to identify the relationship between strategic planning and organizational performance in the Saudi Airlines Company for air transport in Jeddah. The analytical descriptive approach was used. A questionnaire was designed as a data collection tool and applied in the field by distributing the questionnaire electronically to the study society. Jeddah, and the number of (145) individuals, the researcher received (121) response, representing (83.4%).The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: First: There is a statistically significant relationship between strategic planning and institutional performance in Saudi Airlines Company for air transport in Jeddah. The following results are derived from these: • There is a statistically significant relationship at the level of between the level of environmental analysis and monitoring and the organizational performance of the Saudi Air Lines Company in Jeddah. • There is a statistically significant relationship at the level of between the formulation of the strategic plan and the distinguished institutional performance in the Saudi Airlines Company for air transport in Jeddah. • There is a statistically significant relationship at the level of between the implementation of the strategic plan and the performance of the organization in Saudi Airlines for air transport in Jeddah. • There is a statistically significant relationship at the level between the follow-up and evaluation of the strategic plan and the institutional performance performance in the Saudi Airlines Company for air transport in Jeddah. The most important recommendations are: To urge administrations in Saudi Air Lines Company in Jeddah to invest their strengths and reduce weaknesses in the work and work the appropriate programs to overcome weaknesses through analyzing the internal environment, and adherence to time programs in achieving the goals of the administration, formulated in a measurable manner with its strategic objectives, To take advantage of the results of monitoring and evaluation in the development of its performance, and to conduct an external evaluation to assess its performance in the implementation of its strategic plan, and work to provide a system to identify the level of satisfaction of employees, and to motivate employees to deliver outstanding performance.
